@uwedani: I’ve seen a couple tricks to figure out what stance is best for you…
-Have a friend give you a light shove from behind. Whichever foot goes out to balance is your dominant foot, and should go back on the board.
-Stand straight, feet shoulder-width apart, and lean forward until you take a step. Again, whichever foot goes out first is the dominant one. (Right foot = regular, left foot = goofy)
-ICELegit mentioned the slide test… Just remember your dominant foot goes back on a board.
