    I use ratcheted bindings. I just sometimes get confused on where the buckles go. lmao

    Well, if the board comes off and hits someone below you, you could say ratchets are safer i guess. I prefer ratchets, some people hate rigid backs, but i find it helps in controlling, especially if your just starting out.
