Hey everybody!
for this february vacation, i am going to the Atlantis Resort and am extremley excited. I live in cold weather, so this will be such a relief! anyway, i was wondering what the waves were like around that resort. I love huge waves at beaches and i rarely ever have seen them. Any personal experiences are fine, i just want ot know what im going into.

I went years ago to the resort, was named something else then, but nonetheless, the waves were a fair size and even the small ones were powerful, just be very careful we almost lost my sister in an undertow. Like anywhere follow the flags, if it’s red its not safe for swimming. Just beware of the very strong undertow! But aside from that it’s an absolutley amazing country. Everything is so beautiful and the people are wonderful. Cross the bridge into Nassau and go to the market. They also have a lot of Salvador Dali on display in and around the country so if you are into art, you will be right at home! Don’t forget to try the Bahama Mama!
Myself, my fiance, my sister and her two teenage kids are planning a trip to Punta Cana in late March. We would like to stay at an all-inclusive resort that isn’t too big (less than 1,000 rooms). If anyone has been to PC and has resort recommendations, I’d be happy to hear from you. Thanks.
One of my favorite all inclusives in Punta Cana is Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana. Dreams Palm Beach is a smaller AI and features only 500 guest rooms. I think you will love this resort. It’s located on a gorgeous beach and has three swimming pools. There are also plenty of activities to keep your sister’s teenage kids busy such as snorkeling, kayaking and a Euro Bungee. If you and your hubby need a break from all the fun, the two of you can enjoy a quiet and romantic dinner on the beach. Good luck with your decision!

We won’t be throwing huge parties every night or anything, but we would much rather stay in a resort that is mostly 20-30’s then a family resort. We have about 8 people and would prefer a cabin.

My grandmother is taking my boyfriend and I on a trip as a gift, I need to find a resort that is elegant and beautiful (not old like some of the beaches resorts) I want one that includes many different activities for my active boyfriend and has lots of selection for food. Something reccomended for young adults with stuff to do but romantic at the same time. Anyone stayed at my dream resort? There is pretty much no price limit.
Try the Hilton in Barbados or The crane. =)
