What kind of Burton snowboard should I get?

My board just got stolen so Im looking for a new board. I am a decent boarder and mainly do mountain riding on groomed slopes. I have Cartel bindings. Preferably I would like to get a burton board, either a 08 or 09. My budget is 200-500(somewhere around there). Im going to wait till the end of the season when everything goes on sale. Any suggestions for a board? Thanks guys.
Cause im a Burton whore lol

Why does it have to be a burton? plenty of other great brands out there that have just as good or even better products.

GNU
Libtech
Omatic
Stepchild
Capita
Neversummer
Forum

to name a few boards I’d look at specifically would be.

Neversummer SL-R
Libtech Skatebanana
GNU Street
Capita Horrorscope
Burton Hero
Stepchild Powder Sucks

I see you like to ride what everyone else rides, Well look at the burton Hero than your best choice for a burton do it all board, has a sick rocker easy to press good for park and all around riding, it also has a similar magnetraction design that GNU and libtech have.

heh im sorry to say greg but the custom is a huge step down compared to the hero, the custom doesn’t even have the rocker or magnetraction sidewall, the custom has a cap sidewall which is pretty cheap and can end up costing you a board if you get a deep gash in it.

none. There are way better boards out there. Then again it all comes down to opinion!

Check out Arbor boards, it’s my next deck.

The man asked for a Burton board so stop hating on him. The Burton Hero is good but you need to use speical EST bindings that are made specifically by Burton. The best Burton you could get would be the Custom, but I believe it is a little out of your price range and more of an all mountain board..If you are looking for an amazing groomer board, I would get the Supermodel. I had one a few years ago and loved it! It was such a nice ride. I believe this years Supermodel has the EST binding system as well but if you can get an earlier years model, I would grab that. I just bought the Burton Deuce but I havent gotten it yet so I dont know how it rides. It is more of an all mountain board too. I hear the Operator is decent too.

I just bought the Burton Bullet 08 board for 200$ today.

It is a wide board (big feet). It really looks like I’m going to have a good time on there.

My friend owns one and LOVES IT.

I got it at Sports Authority Ski and Snowboard.
